This recipe comes from New Zealand. The original
recipes says to “bake in hot oven!”
Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees.
1 cup flour
2 tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. sugar or honey
1-1/2 cup grated cheese (cheddar, mild or Colby)
1 egg Sift together dry ingredients. Add cheese. Place
egg in 1 cup measuring cup and add enough water
to fill cup. Mix everything together. Spoon into
buttered muffin tins. Bake for 10 minutes.
