TO FIND A RECIPE:

It is easy to find any recipe in the cookbook.
Click on the link and go!

* A TABLE OF CONTENTS is at the top of each Recipes section. Just click on the link and go to each available recipe in the section.

* THE ALPHABETICAL INDEX for ALL THE RECIPES is available from every Recipes section.
Click on "BACK TO INDEX" to find every recipe available!

* ALL THE RECIPES ARE CODED to denote which food categories are used.
The code key will be the same as the one used in the Food Resource List.
...For instance, if a recipe includes flour, fruit, honey and potato, the recipe will be coded: F (fruit),
G
(grain), H (honey), P (potato). The code is listed alongside the corresponding ingredient, making it easy to quickly identify what you may use and what may need to be substituted.

A KEY FOR CODES is available at the top of each section.

* LINKS TO THE FOOD SUBSTITUTIONS LIST AND THE FOOD RESOURCE LIST are available on every page throughout the cookbook.
It is our intention to help you easily create and adapt recipes to meet your needs.

Although we strive to bring you recipes using healthful ingredients whenever possible, some of the older recipes submitted by Windrose Clinic call for sugar. It is suggested you use one of the healthier substitutes for sugar, such as agave syrup, maple syrup or honey. (See the Food Substitutions List for alternatives.)

Shown: Steamed Vegetables (Grated cheese on top optional)

Our goal is to help you to feel comfortable and enjoy cooking recipes, by...

* sharing cooking and baking tips.
You can have a healthy, luscious meal at the table and ready to eat with minimal work!
